Privacy Policy
Effective August 4, 2026. The Quietly Full app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud service, or third-party SDK. The public Quietly Full website uses the optional analytics described below.
What the app processes
Quietly Full measures file and folder sizes, classifies local paths, and remembers your current selections while the app is running. This processing happens on your Mac. Filenames, paths, scan results, and usage activity are not sent to Quietly Full or any third party.
Information stored on your Mac
The app stores a small set of preferences locally, such as scan settings and whether first-run guidance has been completed. A sandboxed edition may also store a security-scoped bookmark for a folder you explicitly choose. You can remove this local information by deleting the app and its macOS container or preferences.
Optional website analytics
Quietlyfull.com asks before loading Google Analytics in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Brazil, Türkiye, Uruguay, Peru, Canada, Colombia, Argentina, Malaysia, Bahrain, Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, and certain European territories and related jurisdictions. Google Analytics is disabled in mainland China. In other regions, analytics loads by default unless you previously chose Reject. Google Analytics may receive the pages you visit, referral source, browser and device information, approximate location, session statistics, and a first-party client identifier. Advertising storage, advertising personalization, and Google Signals are disabled in the site’s tag configuration.
The website uses the country associated with a request, as provided by its Cloudflare hosting service, only to choose among disabling analytics, asking for prior consent, or loading analytics automatically. If the country is unavailable, the website asks before loading analytics.
Your analytics choice is stored locally in your browser. You can change it at any time using Cookie choices in the website footer. Rejecting analytics prevents the tag from loading on future visits and removes the site’s Google Analytics cookies from your browser. The website does not ask for an account and does not send filenames, folder paths, Mac scan results, purchase details, or support-email contents to Google Analytics. Trial and purchase status
Apple processes the seven-day trial and permanent unlock through the App Store. Quietly Full checks Apple-signed purchase status to determine whether moving items is available. Marlowe Emrys does not receive your payment details, Apple Account information, filenames, folder paths, or scan results.
Permissions and file changes
Quietly Full requests file access only to measure locations included in a scan. Depending on the edition, you may choose a folder or optionally grant broader access in macOS System Settings. You can revoke access at any time in Privacy & Security settings.
When you confirm a cleanup, selected items move to the macOS Trash. Quietly Full never empties the Trash. You can put items back using Finder or the app’s available undo action.
Retention and deletion
The Quietly Full app operates without a server, so there is no remote app account or personal-data record to retain or delete. Scan results are held locally for the active app session. Items moved to the Trash remain under your control until you restore them or empty the Trash. If you allow website analytics, measurement data is retained by Google Analytics according to the property’s configured retention settings; choosing Reject prevents the tag from loading on future visits in that browser.
Policy changes
If the app’s privacy practices change, this page will be updated before the changed version is released. The effective date above identifies the current policy.
